Yael Lieberman, a pupil at the Dinur elementary school in Holon, is the winner of the Museum of the Jewish People’s “My Family Story” competition, for a display that tells the story of the State of Israel through the story of an individual family. Lieberman was the winner in one of the competition categories owing to her thorough research, creativity, originality, high standard of execution and demonstration of the connection to the Jewish people.
The “My Family Story” competition in memory of Manuel Hirsch Grosskopf is now in its 25th year at the Museum of the Jewish People. This year it attracted pupils from dozens of schools in Israel and abroad who submitted hundreds of beautiful, original imaginative and inspiring displays that tell the stories of their families, and through them the story of the State.
A virtual exhibition showcasing the displays will be held at a later date.
