Moti Sasson was born and raised in Holon. He graduated from Bialik Elementary School and Kugel High School.
Sasson Graduated from Tel Aviv University with a Bachelor's Degree in Arabic Language and Literature and Middle Eastern History. In addition, Sasson graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a Master's Degree in Business Administration .
Sasson served as Holon's Mayor for 31 years, from 1993 until 2024.
Sasson led Holon to significant achievements and public recognition as a well-managed, innovative, and leading city in various fields, providing a high quality of life for its residents and serving as an attraction for both Israeli visitors and foreign tourists.
