Victory over Nazi Germany is celebrated on May 8th, known as Victory in Europe Day (VE Day).
VE Day has been commemorated in the city with an event:
Holon Mayor Shai Keinan spoke about the veterans' important contribution in Israel's establishment; Musicians sang in Russian and Hebrew; Dancers from Alexandra Levinton's classic dance studio "Bolero" performed at the event.
