​As November arrives, sales peak due to events such as Black Friday and China’s Singles’ Day (11.11). This makes it especially important to raise awareness around sustainable choices and mindful consumption.

No Spend November offers an ideal opportunity for residents to pause, reconsider unnecessary purchases, and explore alternatives that support renewal and sustainability. After all, most of us don’t truly need all the clothes, accessories, and items we buy.

Throughout the month, Holon is hosting a variety of events focused on sustainability and reuse, including DIY upcycling workshops, second-hand fairs, clothing swap events, and more.

The city encourages all residents to take part, reduce waste, and join in promoting a more sustainable future.
