For the first time in Holon, children from various schools participated in
the Peace Poster Contest, an international art competition initiated by Lions Clubs in 1988. This contest invites children worldwide to express their visions and feelings about peace through art.
A special exhibition showcasing all the drawings was held at the Steinberg Music Center. Holon Mayor
Shai Keinan addressed the participants and expressed his admiration for their creativity and talent. Deputy Mayor
Ruty Keren, Council Member for Education, shared her pride in the young artists and their remarkable work.
The Winners
- First Prize: Tamar Zchut, Hess School
- Second Prize: Orian Deri, Hess School
- Third Prize: Hayley Hanaor, Yeshurun School, and Ofir Cohen, Bialik School
The winning artwork will now advance to the national competition.
