Holon residents enjoyed special discounts on children's theater performances, including:
Peter and Wendy: Hana Laszlo starred as Captain Hook in a new adaptation of J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan, at the Mediatheque.
The Wizard of Oz: an adaptation of L. Frank Baum's classic (featuring Miki Kam).
Light the Buildings
A long-standing community project where neighbors came together to light candles and celebrated Hanukkah. This initiative fostered a sense of unity and togetherness throughout the city.
Pnina Exhibition
Hanukkah-themed activities, including:
- A creative workshop, in which children made dolls using unique materials.
- A guided tour of the exhibition.
- Candle lighting on the 6th night of Hanukkah.
Popeye Exhibition
Artist Tal Tenne Czaczkes led guided tour, exploring the artwork and its connection to Hanukkah.
Family and Parenting Department
A special lecture series by Michal Dalyot titled "See the Light", focusing on family dynamics and personal growth during the holiday season.
Puppet Center
Hands-on workshops where children and parents created unique Pumpkin Menorahs and made stop-motion animation videos, using plasticine (modeling clay).
Theater performances and artistic tours at the Puppet Museum.
Community Centers
Community centers across Holon hosted various events, including a Bukharian Hanukkah celebration, a Ladino Musical Event celebrating Sephardic traditions, and many more events for all ages.
