Edward Scissorhands
The modern classic is (probably) Director Tim Burton's most personal movie, as a lonely outsider in an all-American generic suburb. This is Burton's charming and original way of telling his own story, and about feeling outcasted and misunderstood. Johnny Depp's portrayal as Edward, a strange yet pure and sweet creature, is perfomance.
Edward was created by an old inventor who did not finish his work, leaving Edward all alone in a gothic castle, with sharp scissors instead of hands.
Will society be able to accept this unusual individual? Will Edward manage to fit in?
